In November 2019 she was diagnosed with Stage 1 breast cancer. Andrena remained cancer free until 2022 when she was diagnosed with metastatic breast cancer or stage 4. Andrena has spent most of her adult life in banking but is now a payments professional in e-commerce technology. Andrena has been an advocate for breast self examinations as part of an early detection campaign. She is also a strong believer in nutrition and alternative methods of healing.
